SMBIS takes pride in its faculty members. Our teachers work hard to teach and inspire our pupils. For the teachers at SMBIS teaching is a passion rather than an occupation.
Our teachers hold graduate or post-graduate degree from well-reputed institutions. A good number of our teachers have completed their B.Ed or M.Ed degree.
Just like the training required for any specialized profession, teachers must train. Faculty training for each teacher’s development is a priority for us at SMBIS. Our teachers are trained before they enter the classroom and this is a continuous process. Every session several training programmes and workshops are arranged to help our teachers assess and overcome challenges in the classroom in order to become better teachers.
The Head of School, Vice-Principal and teaching staff are accessible to parents upon appointment and discuss the progress of pupils. Parents are also encouraged to meet with the teachers during the regular Parent-Teacher meetings held each term.
